Obtaining

Oak Planks are obtained from the Oak Log through crafting. The Oak Tree is one of the most common tree types and found in a variety of biomes.

Usage / Purpose

Oak Planks are used alone to craft the following:

• Oak Wooden Slabs
• Oak Stairs
• Crafting Tables
• Chests
• Sticks
• Wooden Doors
• Trap Doors
• Bowls

Oak Planks are also used as an ingredient to craft the following:

• Bookshelves
• Signs
• Fence Gates
• Wooden Axe
• Wooden Hoe
• Wooden Pickaxe
• Wooden Shovel
• Wooden Sword

Planks can also be used as an ineffcient fuel in the Furnace to smelt other items.

Planks also act as a good building material due to the wide availability of trees, their strength and aesthetic qualities.
